Wedding date same as engagnement??

I think its super cute! Our first date was on 1/19/16 and we are getting married on 1/19/19 which is a Saturday

Not to sound rude but why would that be rude? In fact I really like the idea of choosing a date that is special to you, then 3/21 will have two different reasons to be super special!

My FH asked me to be his girlfriend on October 6, 2013, he asked me to marry him on October 6, 2016, and now were are getting married on October 6, 2018. Your overthinking it, no one else will really pay attention to that. It will just be very meaningful for the both of you.

No one will remember or care it's the same day you got engaged on. I can't even remember by own "engagement day"

We're getting married on the day we started dating so we can keep our anniversary forever. 1/26 (today!) If anything I think it makes the day more special. This has always been our anniversary and now we get to keep it.

My daughter's wedding is the same date as their engagement date. If the timing fits into your plans, that's extra special

I'm doing this! I got engaged on September 15, 2016 and we're getting married on September 15th this year. It was just a coincidence that the dates worked out but it will also add a little extra to the day. That was the day FH asked me to be in his life forever and it will also be the day we legally bind that decision and celebrate with all of our loved ones.

I got engaged May 19, 2017 and sought out to get married May 19, 2018. I thought it would be fun to have those important days be on the same date. Unfortunately, the vendor I wanted did not have this date available. So if the vendor you like has the date you want than definitely go for it!!

We're in a similar concept. We're actually wedding date twins, yay! We started dating on March 21, 2014 so we decided to get married March 21, 2020 since that will be our 6 year anniversary!

I think it would be cool for you guys to do that! It would be a meaningful date for you guys! I say go for it!
