Before the COVID-19, I was looking at vendors for my wedding but I have now put everything fo a halt. I do have in mind where I would like to have my wedding, I just do not want to lock anything down right at this moment due to the COVID-19....Any suggestions? What are you doing?

I wouldn’t hesitate to book for January. If it’s still around by then, you’ll likely have bigger issues than your wedding anyway.

That’s a good idea. You can most certainly still browse for ideas on colors and decor

Hi Denise! These are scary and uncertain times for sure, but I definitely wouldn't worry about your 2021 wedding yet!

If you already have an idea of vendors you want to book I'd lock them down now to secure your ideal date!

Maybe given the circumstances and being concerned, the vendors will be able to lock you in without a formal contract. I’m sure they are uncertain as well and don’t know what the long term effects may be for them once we all get they this.

    Worth a shot!

I would not lock anything down. Vendors are refusing to return deposits despite a NATIONAL emergency that is preventing weddings from occurring. Heaven forbid this continues, you do not want the stress of vendors not being able to all come together on the same date, with further possibility of losing thousands in deposits.

We just postponed our wedding date from April 11, 2020 to January 16,2021. I think it’s safe to book in January!

Our wedding is Jan 2, 2021 and we are just pausing everything for the time being. I had just gotten our save the dates when things got bad in Italy (I have a friend that lives there so we’ve been concerned about the US for a bit). I’m not sure if I should send them out yet. I’m more concerned that we won’t be able to pay for a wedding once this dies down...
