Wedding Date Twins?

My daughter is getting married that same day. She has her venue, caterer, HMUA, photographer/videographer, officiant and all rental stuff under contract. She has already purchased her dress and shoes as well. I keep telling her I think she’s really far ahead. How are you making out?

That’s my date, too! We have everything booked except hair/makeup, but we’re in the process of taking care of that as well. We booked our venue and photographer in June, and booked the florist, DJ, and bakery, and ordered my dress in July. It’s a good thing we did, too, because our venue and photographer are now completely booked for next summer and fall! 2021 stuff is booking really fast due to having so many 2020 weddings postponed. I’m also a teacher, so I didn’t want to worry about anything wedding related during the school year. I’m stressed enough as it is lol

We are planning an outside wedding, the park we are looking at has a lot of trees that look beautiful in the fall. So nature will be the majority of our decorations. We will have a few things to add.
We are very laid back and don't want anything fancy. We are doing a potluck style meal. Our families are ready to pitch in to make a dish for it. Not a huge gathering maybe 60 guests.
