One thing that may help is to remove the pressure of your wedding needing to be perfect. Things go "wrong" at every wedding. At mine, I forgot to wear my veil for our first look, and only remembered to put it on two minutes before the ceremony. We forgot one of our cake toppers, as well as a small part of our centerpieces. Our ring bearer refused to walk down the aisle. Looking back now, we laugh about each one of those. Instead of focusing on perfection, focus on the excitement of getting to marry your partner, and getting to celebrate the day with your closest friends and family. If you don't have a day-of coordinator, I recommend looking into booking one. They could take on all the stressful day-of tasks and handling anything that goes wrong, leaving you free to genuinely enjoy your wedding day.

I told myself "I get to marry my best friend," whenever I started getting worried or panicky. I think that really helped me to focus on what was important. Also, things are absolutely going to go wrong. We forgot our marriage license, BUT one of our friends ran back to our place and got it in time. Our photographer didn't get a handful of the shots on my list, BUT we did get SO many beautiful ones. Our coordinator ruined our photo guest book idea, BUT we spent so much time with our guests and made some incredible memories. I'm sure there were other things too, but the point is that there's always a way to put a positive spin on things. The day will fly by, so focus on just taking in the day and having a great time Smiley smile

It’s all about setting the right expectations with yourself. It won’t be perfect, there will always be something that goes wrong or not as planned and that’s ok! You will still be getting married to the love of your life and that will not change. Go in with that mindset and you will be ok!

Every one has already mentioned expectations, but here I am to say something similar- LOL. Set the expectations at a reasonable level. Every wedding I’ve been to and have heard about, have had something do un according to plan, and that’s normal and completely okay. It won’t be perfect. Think about the reasons for being there with your fiancé, friends, and family. That should ground you into the “why” when something doesn’t follow your “perfect” plan
