Wedding Day Lingerie

I was thinking the same - same lingerie too! I was planning on just changing into it later that evening. That being said, I cant for the life of me find it!!!!

Pretty dress! I am wearing an ugly strapless bra and Spanx, so will be changing into cute lingerie AFTER the wedding lol.

I agree with everyone else. You need to be more concerned about the practicality and less about the looks. Comfortable underwear, a strapless bra, and maybe some shapewear. You can change into lingerie later.

I can tell you that by the end of my wedding, I was *nasty* sweaty, and just wanted to get my underthings off and get into the shower. H was also sweaty and feeling the need for a shower (all those suit layers). Additionally, your wedding day is a LONG one between getting ready, any nerves you may have, any lack of sleep you may have from the night before, etc. I strongly suggest you go for comfort underneath your dress, and, if you're still "in the mood" as it were, change into pretty lingerie after you get out of your dress. You can even take a minute in the bathroom and change as a surprise.

We (like approximately half of all married couples) ended up being too tired to have sex on our wedding night. Instead of planning on wear lingerie on that evening, and putting pressure on us to have sex, I brought a few things on our honeymoon as nice surprises for H. I just packed them in opaque bags inside our luggage, and told him no peeking lol.

Ditto this. I'm already planning on showering as soon as we get back to the hotel. I'm saving my lingerie for the honeymoon.
