View Quoted Comment I somehow only have one picture from my hair trial 🙃 but this side has a big pulled apart braid and then the other side has a smaller braid and some really pretty twists and then they all sort of overlap in the back. The second picture was one of my inspo pics.

This is someone I follow on Youtube and looking even remotely close to this look is definitely one of my wedding day goals😅

I had my hair and makeup trials months apart. For my makeup, I'd prefer to not have bottom liner and shadow or use a different color, possibly brown. For my hair, the stylist used to do my hair regularly and is used to it being red so she used red hair for my bun. On the wedding day, she'll use darker hair.

My DIY HMU trial from when we attended a friend’s wedding Saturday! Both of these photos are from after the event, and I am pretty pleased with how both my hair and makeup held up through 6+ Hours of an outdoor wedding with lots of heat, hugs, and dancing!
