Wedding day nails, Done! dip powder/sns pics/info!

Alrighty...I updated my previous post, but I couldn't edit the title to say updated AND I figured it would be better to give a full run down of dip/powder in a separate post anyway....
So first off...5 days and a few hours until I'm married...anxiety mixed with excitement has set in!
Got my nails redone today for the wedding, still love the color and the dip!

Now...I will say, it was a different girl who did the dip today and they aren't *quite* as *perfect* as the previous girl had done them. One nail is just a little shorter than the rest, a couple are a tiny bit thicker than the rest and the shape is a little more square than I wanted...however these are tiny, nit picky things that only I would notice.

That being said, I would say absolutely get a nail trial and if you like the person try to schedule an appointment with the exact same person if possible! Also, my nails had *0* damage after the dip was removed!!! Seriously, I was amazed!

Now, Pics!!!
I'm on mobile so cant edit a title for each one...so I'm going to be careful to upload these in order
#1 is right after I originally got them done a month ago, #2 is 1 month later, #3 my natural nails after the dip polish was removed and my nails trimmed - you can see how healthy my nails look, no peeling or breakage, no damage like how acrylics or gel does to my nails! And #4 is all re-done and wedding ready!

P.s.. I had my engagement ring cleaned and put I to the box with the wedding band so it would be perfect and sparkly for the wedding, thus the bow ring in its place Smiley winking

Very pretty! I recently started getting the dip/sns powder too and I'm very happy with it. I'll definitely be doing it for my wedding.

Love them!! I was wondering if the dip nails would damage your nail beds. My nails are super healthy and I don't want to hurt them. Thanks for sharing about your experience. Great news. CONGRATULATIONS!!💐💍

You're welcome! Glad I could be of help!
I don't like having acrylics and rarely wear any polish on my hands, I lile my natural nails so I was SUPER happy to see the dip powder hadn't done damage!
    And thanks Smiley smile

Looks great and glad it didn't ruin your nails. I'll have to look into this. I don't wear acrylics and very rarely polish.
    Exciting... Almost your day!!!! 💖💖💖

Thanks! I hate not having my engagement ring on, it feels so weird! But, I want it to be as sparkly as the wedding band..so it has to stay in the box until wedding day LOL

Your nails look great! I am soooo glad I started trying sns! I have really weak nails that bend and get all wavey looking so I'm going to keep up with getting them done so I can have nice long nails for Vegas!

I dunno what you mean, its the exact same purple as before, the exact same powder...except for the wedding I wanted them all to be one color lol

I only had 1 silver glitter nail before because I was trying the powder for the first time and wanted to know what the all glitter powder looked like Smiley winking

But thanks for saying they're elegant, I looooove this color!

Thank you for posting this! I have been trying to figure out what I'm going to do for my wedding. I kept hearing about dip nails but I don't know anything that has had them done. This sounds like a great alternative to gel nails, which always leave my nails so damaged.

You're very welcome! I had never seen someone do a breakdown of how they looked after a few weeks or what the nails looked like when the powder came off, so I was hoping that others would find this helpful! Smiley laugh

Geez you have nice nails! I wish I could get mine to grow that long without breaking or trimming them myself. Looks super nice! Good luck in your last week of 'single' life and I hope you have an AMAZING wedding day!!!
