Hello! My fiance and I are getting married on June 26th in Redmond, WA at a beautiful outdoor venue called The Emerald Forest.
We've decided to have a more casual dining experience and use the grill (and utensils) they have onsite to grill up some meat and veggies and have the guests serve themselves in a "buffet style". We have disposable chafing sets to use to keep the food warm as well as compostable dishes for guests to use. There will be trash cans available for guests as well. We're not looking for catering or bussing of tables, just a team of 1 or 2 reliable people to come out and grill for a few hours. FYI, there are no electrical outlets, the grill is propane.
Our planner (who hasn’t been very helpful in general) told us that caterers would not cook the food if we were to buy it. If that’s true, what are our other options? We don’t want to ask any of our family or friends because they’re traveling out here to attend the wedding and want them to enjoy their time.
