wedding Disaster!

I'm not sure where to put this...
But my wedding was a disaster.

I invited 120 ppl. 98 ppl RSVP GOING.
20 ppl (if that showed up).

All the money. Planning, time doing,diy projects...and nothing.

Most of the guest lives in the area. There was no bad weather. No sickness. No explanation. No apology. NOTHING.

I'm,talking people who drove me crazy during the planning process to have special accommodations still didn't come.
My husband's parents didn't come....only one called. Everyone else acted like it didn't even happen.
Dj(friend of,mine) faked sick and bailed on me. And posted on Facebook he played another event same day.
Weddings are EXPENSIVE. Emotionally exhausting. And THIS was so not ok.

I know it sounds cliche. But my husband and i haven't done ANYTHING to,ANYONE for this to make sense.
We are so hurt.

    I am so sorry that such a large number of guests no showed to the wedding. The bright side is that you are married to the love of your life, congratulations on that! I can't imagine a parent just deciding to skip their kids wedding. Have you talked to your husband's parents since to find out what happened?

    Wow, thats disheartening but at the end of the day you are married. I'd be pretty angry with all those who RSVP'd then didn't show. To be honest i'd really want to say something, but at the same time not even worry about it and make a mental note on how people treated you. I can't imagine them not showing and not telling you why. Thats also a lot for nothing to have occurred. so sorry.

    I am so sorry you experienced this! It is very unfair and unfortunate. As a person who is planning a wedding for 80-100 guests, I would have to experience that! I pray you find peace and comfort in your heart.

    Wow! I can't even begin to imagine. I'm so sorry.

    Its bad enough that your guests didn't show up but, for FH's parents not to show up is just mind-boggling. Did he have a good relationship with them prior to this? Did they make any indication that they weren't planning to attend or didn't support the relationship? This just sounds crazy to me.

    The silver lining is that you're married at the end of the day. You have each other through all of this.

    I wouldn't wish this kind of start on anyone's new marriage. I'm sorry for the difficulties you faced on your wedding day, Bianca, and I wish you two the best of luck in your lives together. Hopefully, things go up from here.

    They all literally told us 2 days before.
    2 for reasons we can't understand.
    And the other was hiding health issues. But still drove us crazy about accommodations knowing they were sick.

    It wasn't a contract. He was a friend who was gifting us his services for free.
    And only told us he wasn't coming the night before when,we called him to,confirm,arrival time.
    He said he his sickle was bothering him.,then went on Facebook to brag about doing anpther party same day,despite being,sick
    Otherwise we wouldn't have known.
