We both wanted fall, and my first wedding was in September, so I didn't want it that same month. In numerology it's a highly spiritual date, and it's an important date to my FH. So, here we are!

We actually changed our date to August 15th before all of this craziness. I sincerely hope by October especially this will no longer be an issue.

I’ve decided to have the conversation with my FH if we have to change what’s his thoughts ? Just so I may have that discussion with our venue and vendors in advance. I believe we’ll simple get married just he and I and our witness and do the Hupla at a later date with friends and family since everything is non-refundable.

Well, I've always wanted to be an October bride, but when we started talking about marriage, I started pushing for July just because I would be out of school for the summer (teacher here), but then I started wanting outside ceremony, so he wanted fall, October seemed like a great time and the 24th was closer towards the end since in North Carolina early October can still be kinda hot.

Thanks, I have been. I'm feeling confident that things will settle down by October. It has been fun planning, and to be honest as a teacher working from home, I've also got some time to work on some of these DIY projects.

It better be by October! I'm also a teacher, but my motivation is seriously lacking during these quarantine times. I hope everything will be fine for our wedding date in August. :/
