Whenever you have time depending on what it is. I recommend having those things ready at least a month before the wedding so you don't have to stress about them leading up to.

I've started working on my centerpiece items for Sept '22 because they're going to take at least 1-2 hours for me to make per piece and I already know I'm going to be frustrated with them lol

If you have the space to store all of it, then yes! I think starting early can save you money, too. Keep an eye out for sales at places like Michaels. You can also find good deals on Facebook Marketplace, especially in the fall when the summer newlyweds are trying to sell their decor.

I would start a few months before and do little at a time. You don't want to have it all fall down onto having it to be done close to your wedding and feel rushed. But also! If this works for you maybe have a crafting day with your gal pals/bridal party and have them help while drinking wine. Would be a fun night and more time to bond with wedding stuff.
