Wedding Dress Bra Cups

Cheyenne, on December 15, 2021 at 7:00 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

Hey everyone!!

I'm so excited my wedding dress finally came in after what seemed like a loooonggg 5 months! I've had an appointment for alterations, but my seamstress only has bra cups for smaller chests.

Does anyone have suggestions of where to buy a quality set of good bra cups to get sewn into my wedding dress?? I'm a size 38DD and want to make sure the cups will be full coverage.

Thanks for any help in advance(:

I saw some on etsy that said they were for size A-E! Or, you could get one of those gel, stick on bras to boost things as well/instead of.

Honestly I would skip the bra cups if you are larger than a B. They really only pad the nipples and don’t lift or support. Does the seamstress have boning she can add to the dress to get a corset effect? That will lift and support. If that isn’t an option, I would strongly consider tape that you can purchase at boobhold.com or goodlines.com and follow their tutorials online.

Seems weird that the seamstress won't order what she needs to do the job properly, but I don't really know about it I suppose.

Their is a padding product called "chicken cutlets" ... don't laugh, that is the name LOLOL They are available at, of all places, WALMART in their ladies intimates section. (in a box, by size) They can be sewn in for support. As Samantha mentioned, I am surprised your seamstress didn't recommend another option (or order what she needed)

I’ve used a brand called ‘booby tape’ before so I’ll deff check out good lines.
I also didn’t think of the boning she can probably add!
    Thanks for your input(:

Hahah what a great name for a product.
I’ll deff have to check it out, thanks!

I also thought it was surprising, but I might go back to her and ask her if she can order them or where she gets hers from.
