Wedding Dress Doubts!

I’m getting married in June of 2020 and didn’t think to look for a wedding dress until now, June of 2019. I thought I had plenty of time until my FH found out that we’ll be moving to Japan in 2 months for 2 years for work! I drove across country to go dress shopping with family and really felt that I had to get a dress on that day because of the crazy short timeline! The dress is pretty but I’m still feeling some doubt on whether or not it’s the right one for me? Pic below, please help! Would it be awful to look for a new dress and lose money?

    Is there anything about it in particular you're unsure of? Such as things you think can easily be done to it that'll make you happier with it?

    I think that dress looks stunning on you. As previous poster asked, what is it that you don't like about it? It's a gorgeous dress and looks great on you, so it's really about your opinion of it that would determine if you need a new one or not. Personally, I would try to figure out it I can alter what I have for a decent price.

    Thank you for your thoughts! I guess I was a little unsure about the color. When I was in the bridal shop the lady helping me mentioned that the nude color under the ivory lace didn’t match my skin tone and that kind of stuck in my head. I was also a little unsure of the ivory/nude color because the dress isn’t completely white. Unfortunately those are things I can’t have altered...

    I personally prefer the nude underlay with ivory lace. I'm biased because that's what my dress is (technically the color is champagne and ivory). Granted, photographs can look different than real life, but there doesn't seem to be any disconnection between your skin tone and the dress underlay. I think it looks good.

    The nude color doesn't quite match your skin tone, but to me, that's a good thing. I think it's beautiful!

    Wow the detail in the dress is perfect. Try it on with your veil, and all the jewelry. Sometimes that makes it all
    come together and will make you cry those happy tears. You look amazing

    I’ve never heard anyone say the nude or champagne underlay should match skin tone! I love your dress with the nude underlay. Mine is champagne and I’m as white as a sheet and I think it looks absolutely amazing!

    Holy cow that dress is stunning on you! I think in pics that two-tone works perfectly with your skin tone (and I prefer over all one color anyway). Get it. Get it now. 😃 ❤️ I mean, unless you don’t like it.

    I think that dress is amazing, and you are TOTALLY rocking it!! That being said, if you REALLY dont like it and aren't just 2nd guessing yourself, then see if you can get any money back and buy the one you LOVE

    I think the underlay comment is unwise. Your skin tone is close to it. You'll never be a perfect match. There are definitely more than 3 skin tones in the world. I think your skin tone is complimentary to the underlay. You let anyone suck the wind out of your sail. It's a gorgeous dress that looks gorgeous on you.

    That dress looks really pretty on you but if your not extremely thrilled about it and have extra room in the budget I'd say go ahead and look for something that you'll truly be happy in. This is one of the most important days of you life and you should feel like a Queen!

    I LOVE your dress. Your body looks amazing in it, and it's got such great details. The details will be lost if you chose ivory/ivory. Having the nude makes it special. Keep it!!!
