Wedding dress FAILS!!! who is brave enough

I wish I had pictures of my really bad fails (my mother does but her phone sucks). I do have this one, which wasn't THAT bad. I asked for a lot of detail in the dress and something tight on top that let out at the bottom (I was there for a fit and flare dress) and the lady brought out this one. It did have detail, but the boobs are so bare that it draws attention to them. I ended up with a dress that had bling all over, which is what I was looking for. I also tried on a fit and flare that felt like it was made of satin quilt material and was like 30 lbs.

@kristenann I think every single one of those dresses look gorgeous on you, your figure is amaze balls!

@Alyssa I LOVE that dress! I think it's gorgeous. What dress did you end up going with?

KT - That thing weighed a metric ton! It was the feathers that really got to me... Never try on a dress that your MOH wants to laugh at!!

OH FUN!!!! Unfortunately the flash drive with all of my pictures got lost, so I don't have any of the REALLY hideous ones. However, I do have the best contenders that didn't make it.

2) My MOH insisted I try on a ball gown... I was not amused

3) Runner up (don't mind the face), but I decided against it. It took me a while to realize that the dress made me look short.

@Kristine- Feathers?! Wowza! I can understand why you wouldn't buy something your MOH laughed about.

Actually, one of my MOH's told me she didn't like my dress when I came out. Everyone else loved it and I swear she didn't say one dang word the whole time unless I asked her a questions and even then it was a head nod yes or a head nod no. Everyone was talking about the different points of the dress I chose and I said "So what about you, Ashley. What do you think"? She just shook her head no. Oh well! I got it anyway! Truth be told, she was jealous. She is my brother's gf and she was jealous that they weren't engaged yet (they are now, after a huge fight where she kicked him out because of it) and she was being a total B the whole day. But my other MOH (I had 2 cuz I only had 2 girls and I didn't want either of them to feel more important than the other) was so supportive and helpful to me and my brother's gf just sat there in silence. Whatever!

KT!! Your TT comment killed me - i almost spit my drink out at work.....but i have to agree -- that dress was horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@KT... yep... feathers. To give you some perspective, I (the love child of Rockabilly and j.crew) live in the thick of Real Trainwrecks of NJ land. That kind of stuff is considered a work of art.

That sucks that your one MOH didn't have anything nice to say about your dress, I feel your hurt. My MOTHER told me my dress looked frumpy (look in the "are you getting a lot of alterations" thread for pictures.) All I can say is they don't have to wear it!

KT.... "torpedo tits" totally made my day! I'm glad you were able to pick your dress even though one of your girls was bitchy. A lot of brides let that ruin the day.

I have nothing to add here, I went in to try a dress I saw online and bought it. Hopefully it won't be a "fail" when it comes in.

I don't have them all with me, just these two. The first one I thought I really liked but then I was just not having it. They would have had to make it into a sweetheart neckline for me and that would have been pricey. I also didn't like the train. The 2nd one I was absolutely in love with but like Ashleigh said, no one else liked it. They all said it was too prommy. My mom went with me and she just didn't like it at all (even though she didn't say that, I could just tell).
