Wedding Dress- How long did it take it for you to find 'the one' ?

I found mine the first time and it was dress 7 out of 9

It took me just about four months to find The One and order it. I went to at least five stores, a couple of which I went to 2-3 times. I almost drove eight hours into another state just to see what a specific trunk show had. I'm glad I looked around as much as I did; I feel like I exhausted my options and really found the perfect one. And even still I'm customizing it to a small extent.

I tried on prob 20 dresses total. Two different shops, two appointments. It was the last dress I tried on. I went home and thought about it for a month then went back to try it on again. I didn't have a big moment, not everyone does! I just couldn't stop staring at myself or looking at the photos from the appointment. I just wanted to watch the skirt twirl. No tears though!

I tried two on right when I got engaged and said yes to both then decided to order one online, then Friday got one that I love the most off the $99 Davids bridal rack. It all sounds crazy but I got the deposit back on the first two and my mom bought the online one which was only 150 so I only spent 99 and I'm absolutely in love with it.

So to get the dress I'm actually wearing? 11 months (shameful face)

I tried on 7 at the first (and only) shop I went to. I ended up searching online after that because dress shopping made me feel really weird. I then ordered a dress online and I like it. I didn't love it until I put it together with my jewelry, shoes, and veil. Agree with the PP that said, getting "jacked up" can make a difference. Try number 1 with a veil/accessories and see if you feel differently. My veil made more difference than anything (which is funny since I figured I would not want a veil).

I ended up buying the first dress I tried on, but I went to a total of 3 stores and tried on probably 20-30 total. I kept going back to the first one, but I slept on it for a week before going back to purchase. No dress regrets, because I felt like I really saw the other options and styles before I made a final decision!

You aren't crazy!! I tried on about 50 at 6 different stores. I was getting frustrated but then my sister made an appointment at a bridal store her friend found hers at. It was the last dress I tried on there! It had everything I was looking for and my mom and sister cried! I felt the same way I did when my fiancé proposed, heart racing, so happy and excited!! You'll know!

Found the one at my first shop. Tried on 12-15 and ended up going with #5

I love both dresses, you look gorgeous in them! Personally, I think I'm team dress 2 though!

I was lucky enough to find my dress in the first store I was at. I'm really indecisive, so I was stuck between two dresses I loved and looked great in. I never had a cried or had a "moment," but knew that either dress could be the one because nothing else I tried on compared. I finally decided on by going back to the things I was initially looking for in a dress; illusion neckline and unique back. One dress had it, the other while gorgeous and super comfortable, didn't. I knew I made the right choice when I was "jacked up" with a veil, and now I can't stop thinking about the next time I will get to wear it!

7 dresses. The one I actually chose was the 6th dress. My mom cried and so did I!!

I found mine at the first place I went to. Tried on 5 dresses and ended up picking the very first dress I tried on!

I cried when I tried on the last one, so I knew it was the dress!

I promise, you are not crazy! I went to 12 different stores and tried on at least 85 dresses before I finally found the one. I'm the one that's crazy, lol!!! But the one was worth the stress of trying on the 84 before it.

I found mine at the 4th store. I liked one at the 2nd store I went to but something just told me to keep looking. Glad I did!

It took me 4 boutiques & I tried on at least 20-30 dresses at each, except for the last one I visited. I tried on 6 at the last boutique & purchased the last one I tried on. Oddly enough, it was the dress my mom chose for me to try on. Can't wait to wear it!
