Wedding dress idea

After work last night I went to Macy’s and I tried on different prom dress styles, so I could get a dress style idea that I like and looks good on me. As soon as I saw this dress I fell in love with it. I know it is a prom dress and not a wedding dress. I am thinking about getting it to wear for the reception.Wedding dress idea 1

    That's beautiful. Girl, don't let the wedding industry fool you. ANY dress can be a wedding dress. If you feel beautiful in it and love it, then rock it!!!

    I love it! You could rock that as your only dress for your wedding if you really wanted to, it's gorgeous.

    It's beautiful. I used a prom dress as my wedding gown. I honestly feel like any kind of white long gown that's evening or prom would work for it. Many people just find a dress they love that's not necessarily marked as bridal. It'll cost a lot less too.

    That dress is beautiful on you, and I think it looks like a wedding dress. If you want to make it even more bridal, maybe see a seamstress about adding detachable dropped sleeves and a detachable train. That way you could have a slightly different look for the ceremony and then rock this dress in all its glory at the reception.

    I see bridesmaids dresses that are used as wedding dresses so id say you can still wear it for the whole wedding if you really want. you wouldnt be able to beat the cost of this one if you went for an actual wedding dress!

    That dress is awesome and could easily be a wedding dress! I absolutely love the gold!! You have so many great opportunities to style that with fun gold accessories, shawl, veil, etc.

    Looks good. Sure, wear it for the reception. But actually you can wear it for the ceremony too. Ultimately, a dress is a dress! You just happened to see it in the prom section. But if it was hanging in a bridal salon, you’d automatically call it a wedding dress. 😉
