Hi everyone! I need some support and help. I’m too ashamed to share this with any of my friends or family.

I’m getting married in May 2022 and unfortunately, i’m dealing with dress regret. I bought this dress in May and it should arrive at the bridal salon next month.
I’m just stressing it’s not going to match the theme of our wedding or be age appropriate. I’m 32 and will nearly be 33 when i get married. i’m getting insecure I should’ve chose something more simple and elegant. EEEK!
I’d really appreciate the honesty.
SOS- Your anxious bride.

That dress if fire! Wear it! I was 33 when I got remarried in a very traditional wedding dress. My husband just officiated a wedding for my niece's grandma who wore a traditional poofy princess dress and she rocked it. Don't worry about "appropriate" wear what's going to make you happy!

I don't know what you're ashamed of; that dress is GORGEOUS! Smiley love People worry far too much about whether they're "too old" for their dress. I'm 37 and getting married next month. I was at first a little worried that I was too old for a big poofy princess dress, but do you know what? That's what I always wanted, regardless of how old I was when I got to wear it. If that's the dress that felt right when you wore it, there was a reason for that. Don't concern yourself with themes or appropriateness. It's a beautiful and tasteful dress that you look amazing in, and you should be proud of it. You're going to rock it next May!!

Faith, I'm pretty sure we're wearing the same dress!! Smiley laugh As I told the original poster, I'm 37, and I have every intention to rock it in less than a month. Btw, you look fabulous in it, too! Smiley sexy

Oh babe!! I have dress regret also but my dress is EXACTLY ME! You picked that dress for a reason and you look beautiful in it, so who cares if it matches your venue! We pay for and stress for and slave over our weddings so we can be happy! Besides, the day of you have all the accessories and once the look comes together you’ll be so perfect!
