Wedding Dress regret

Hi everyone! I wanted to make a discussion about my wedding dress regret in hopes of getting some support! I originally bought a dress for $2500 and changed my mind after the reactions I was getting from my parents. The store kindly let me exchange for another. In a rush to get this over with I switched for a cheaper dress at $1400 but the store refused to give me a refund, so I still have about $1100 left at the store to spend. I’m now not liking my new dress.


The alterations will definitely be upwards of $700+ for what I need done. I’m wondering that if I make some changes like altering the underlay to ivory and changing the neckline to a halter I’d like it better? Or if I should just buy a different dress with the $1100 I have left or buy from a different store? Should I try and sell this dress?
