I was suppose to be getting married this month however due to the current situation with Covid have postponed till next year. I tried my dress on yesterday and have gained a few lockdown pounds and just wasn’t feeling it.
We originally booked a last minute wedding, so I bought a very reasonable off the rail dress and was fine with that at the time, I never had that ‘this is my dress’ feel but I figured it’s cause I’m a Tom boy at heart. It was very exciting being being last minute but now with a year to go I feel maybe I should have gone down the proper dress hunt. I feel there’s going to be added extra expectation with all this time and I feel slightly stressed, silly I know as a dress is hardly a third world problem. I feel really uncomfortable in the dress, I feel It looks to tight and the seam on my waist doesn’t quite look right and the straps I just don’t know what to do, here they are pinned in the first photo, not sure if I should leave them thick? Also aware it needs steaming, it’s been in a box for months.
