Hey Everyone!

I bought my wedding dress from Jaehee Bridal in Englewood. Their seamstress is the Dress Doctor and they quoted me $600 (hemming, taking in at waist)+ $150 for bustle so $750 total for alterations. This seems quite high...does anyone have recommendations for a wedding dress seamstress near Bridgewater? Thank you so much!

Hi Stephanie! That quote sounds like it's right on target (especially for NJ which is notoriously expensive)!! It's hard to give an "average cost" for alterations because it totally depends on each dress, but most brides tend to spend between $500-800 on dress alterations.
