I thought I wanted a ball gown, and it’s probably what I would have gone with when I was younger, but I really love the fit and flare silhouette on my body.

Fit-n-Flare for me. I have always been conservative and like to hide my shape in my clothes. For wedding, however, I wanted to surprise everyone and just glam out. No one would ever expect me to wear the dress I chose. My runner-up shape was the ballgown. Now that shape I never wanted because it felt too much like a princess thing and was too young for me. But, oh my goodness, I came up on one dress that was absolutely stunning but it couldn't trump my fit-n-flare.

So, no pictures yet, but mine is a ball gown/A-line dress, with a sweetheart neckline, but I might it altered to a halter top or add some type of straps just to make sure it's secure and I'm a little self conscious about my chest. It also has a corset back, which I will definitely change to a zipper or buttons just to make it a lot easier to get in and out of

I believe mine is an A-line. It's light and flowy for an early summer wedding...it even had a bit of a train! And with a little tweaking I'll be wearing my mom's veil! 😊

I picked a ball gown! Which is definitely not what I thought I would pick but I love it!

I've been gravitating to A-Line and ballgown silhouettes, but I am going to try on a variety just to be sure. I can't wait to go dress shopping!
