Mine is not technically a wedding dress, but it was really one of the only things that truly felt like me. It's from the Marchesa Resort Collection and I can't wait to style it up on my big day

I am wearing a princess shaped gown —kinda loke an in between ballgown and a-line. I wanted drama but without being a cupcake, something flattering for me... as i am more full figured. I was loving the rhinestone type beads on the bodice, the sash and especially the satin skirt. It’s also got pockets and a long train with buttons that start ar the hem and go all the way up to the back. I am planning on adding mesh sleeves where the beading will contjnue just a little over my shoulders, trickling down my arms and accentuating my wrists. I am also going to have a deeper v cut and add illusion lace to bring out the sweetheart neckline a bit more. The fit is super flattering on me. I have photos but they werent very good at conveying the look.
Im your cliche princess bride but i didnt just suddenly decide this— ive always known I wanted this look. I am a costumer, so i know what im looking for. I saw brenon and calvin by maggie sottero and was drawn to the fabric and look— i wanted to find something that had aspects of both without costing 3k this was a $1.5k gown—steep but %10 of budget as recommended— I’ll probably make my own veil—cathedral with a blusher.

Mine is a trumpet silhouette but I want to add crinoline at the bottom to make it fuller (like in the picture). It should be arriving sometime this summer and I cannot wait 😍
