Hello! I went for my wedding dress fitting today and as much as part of me LOVED it, I guess I have a niggling feeling that it’s a bit too sexy.. I think it’s the back/side where the lace panelling comes around. There isn’t a great deal I can do about it now but I have only asked close family who of course don’t want to upset me.

I’d love a strangers opinion on this.. if you saw a bride in this dress would you think wow that’s too much..

I don’t think it’s too sexy at all! It is a stunning dress and fits you perfectly. You shouldn’t be worried at all, you’re going to be gorgeous on your wedding day! Enjoy!

Your dress is 100% the right amount of sexy IMO. Not too revealing, but elegant and flatters your figure so well. There is nothing inappropriate about your dress.
I worried my dresses were a bit too sexy as well. I liked them and felt confident in them, but they definitely show off more than my ordinary everyday clothes. My mom and MIL (both who tend to be pretty conservative with dress) both loved them, as did everyone else!

I’m a traditionalist & slightly conservative. For a non-church wedding, you & your dress look lovely! The back of this dress is stunning.

That said… feeling confident, beautiful & comfortable in your dress, is essential. If you are more focused on feeling exposed/naked, walking down the aisle… try adding some lining under the tear-drop shaped hole in front? If you’re already showing lots of back skin & cleavage, covering that lower cut-out on the front might completely change your mind & settle any doubts.
Otherwise, just own it & embrace being sexy!! You look incredible.

Gorgeous dress! I don't think it's too sexy! However, if you are having a church ceremony I would check to see their requirements. We are getting married in a orthodox Church and the only request the priest had was for my shoulders to be covered. This is not a big deal because there are so many beautiful bridal shawls/ boleros out there. My dress is sweetheart neckline very simple/elegant, trumpet satin.
