Wedding Dress under $600? Where did you find a steal of a deal at?

Katie, on January 26, 2020 at 9:45 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 17
I’m looking to not break the bank on my wedding dress. Any recommendations on places or online stores that have great, but reliable, deals on wedding dresses?

Azazie is a VERY reputable online source. For a nominal fee you can order dresses to try on before ordering, and they do custom-sizing at no extra charge, potentially saving you a lot on alterations. Many of their bridal gowns are under $600. Daughter did not get her dress from them, but her BMs did and we were very impressed with quality, cost, and customer service. Good luck!

I got mine off facebook marketplace. She sold dress, veil, jewelry, and hair accessories all for $60, yes, sixty dollars! Wedding Dress under $600? Where did you find a steal of a deal at? 1

In fact, I wasn't even planning to have a wedding until I saw that dress, and fell in love with it. I still don't want a wedding, but I am excited to wear my dress. Only 13 more days 😳

BHLDN has beautiful dresses online and you can return if it doesn’t fit or you don’t like it. Of course there is David’s Bridal and Lulu has good ones too.

    Facebook marketplace, Poshmark, preownedweddingdresses etc.

I got mine from Poshmark, it’s a sample dress worth $3500 and I paid $295. I actually had money in my Poshmark account from selling my own stuff so I only paid out of pocket $50!

Just bought one from StillWhite today! Can’t wait to get it! It’s about $1200 at David’s bridal and I paid $400.

I would suggest maybe trying some on in store and then searching for the same/similar dress online at StillWhite or PreOwnedWeddingDresses. Budget was a big deal for me and I’m so glad I looked online for one.

You can call up local bridal shops and ask if they have samples sales with dresses in your budget. I scored my gorgeous reception gown for less than $200 at a bridal shop!

I would try Azazie! You can actually try on a sample first before ordering your dress.

I bought my unworn sample gown at a bridal store closing down for $150. Bridal shops around me tend to have pretty good sample sales, so I highly recommend seeing when your local shops have their sales. Also, some stores may have a couple of racks of returned/old samples that you can buy off the rack for a discount. For online, Lulu’s and CocoMelody have wedding dresses that are super affordable. I know others have mentioned the used route and looking on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and used wedding dress websites, but an unconventional option might be to join some styled photo shoot Facebook groups (Styled Shoots Across America, Styled Shoots Network A Group by Traveling Shoots with Taylor, etc). There’s a variety of vendors in those groups, and sometimes you’ll see photographers and dress designers looking to sell wedding dresses they’ve used in their shoots for cheap.

I got mine for $200 at David's Bridal because it was a discontinued style on clearance. I have seen a lot of brides on here post about StillWhite!

I loved Azazie! I ordered several stay-at-home dresses from them. The quality was great and their customer service was awesome.

I've also seen dresses on Poshmark, stillwhite.com, and preownedweddingdresses.com for less than $600.

I got mine for $30 because i simply looked at options that were not wedding gowns. i looked at evening gowns, prom dresses, just basically any white or ivory dress. when you take yourself outside of the realm of wedding category, things get much cheaper
