I am a dark brown skinned bride to be and fell in love with a wedding dress with a nude mesh and appliqués on top creating an illusion of a strapless gown. I was wondering if any other woman of color has had a problem with the nude mesh not exactly blending in with their skin tone and whether you thought it looked bad or ruined the wedding pics. I've a,ready purchased the dress and the owner says she will remove the seams to make it blend more. Any opinions will be appreciated.

    I am not a woman of color, but I didn't like these mesh styles because the mesh wasn't the same tone as my skin. They just didn't blend well on me because the undertones were off. The picture isn't very clear, but it seems to work on you!

    I personally don't like the nude mesh on dark skin at all. If they can blend it that would be so much better. The picture is a little blurry so I can't tell how off it is.

    She should be able to remove it and apply the mesh that will blend in.

    I think it looks great, I'd also really like a white mesh. I think the ivory (white) mesh would look beautiful!

    My best friend is a WOC and I'm completely jealous of her skin tone! So many colors look great on her that I can't pull off!

    Lol..when I said I share the date with Sass, I meant the month and day. I'm aware she just got married this year.
