Wedding dress

Ciara, on October 15, 2020 at 7:49 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8
Okay so my original dress is too short, too late for alterations or they’re gonna cost an arm and a leg, which we can’t do. Money is so tight and I’m a petite girl and I mean tiny. Where Can I look for dresses that will fit and not too expensive 😭 body shaming myself and it’s bad.

Azazie is a good one especially when they have their sample sales

Also check out Poshmark! You can find some decent dresses on there (many of them new with tags) for cheap.

How short is too short? My seamstress cut my bridesmaids dresses too short, so I added a layer of lace on the bottom myself. Any picture?

Just checked your profile. It is too short, but you can wear flats and if you like you can add a longer layer yourself. It’s not super hard.

I think your original dress is fine. You would only want it an inch or two longer, else it would start dragging on the floor....just wear flat shoes, it looks fine.

Agreed I found the photos of your dress and it is too short, but not horribly so. If it only looks short when you are walking I might just wear flats and try to pose in a way that your feet aren't super visible in your still photos. Otherwise Lulu's would be my recommendation for something inexpensive that can come quickly and not need alterations.

If you have the time to wait, I'd say Wish. If not, most goodwills and other thrift stores have donated wedding dresses you can check out.
