Wedding Dress

Anybody in Michigan (Auburn Hills, Rochester, Waterford, Troy and Novi area) know a nice place to get my dress from ? I have my first appointment with David’s Bridal July 20th but their dresses aren’t as glamorous as I thought

    Hey Deja!

Have you got an idea of what style of dress you are looking for? It’s great to have an idea before you go to your appointment and you can show your stylist what type of dresses you would like to try on. You should also listen to their advice and maybe try on some different styles, you might be surprised and love something completely different!

If you would like to try some other stores in your area, you could check out the WeddingWire vendor search. I’ve started a search for you here - Michigan Wedding Dresses. You will be able to find bridal stores in your area and check out their customer reviews before making an appointment.

Do you have any pictures of a dream dress that you have found?

I got mine at Camille la Vie in Great Lakes Crossing. I personally liked the overall experience there better than DB because they have people available to help if you have questions, but its browse and try on by yourself so there's not a stylist there pressuring you to buy

I got my dress from Nancy's Bridal in Shelby Township! The ladies there were super kind, and the alterations were quick and fairly priced.

Barb’s bridal in Shelby is closing the owner said she is retiring and offering all wedding dresses in her boutique at 40%off until September. I wish I would have known before going dress shopping I just happened to stop there for bridesmaids dresses and browsing for head pieces. I got mine at Camille la vie in Great Lakes crossing though they have a nice selection.

The Dress Shop in Howell might be a bit farther but it was overall my best experience! I went to 4 nice shops plus DB. I had a horrible experience at DB that left me in tears (,@ story for another time... Lol). The Dress Shop literally treats you like a queen!!! It's all about you you you and they actually work really hard to help you find the right dress. They usually have 2 people working with you, they give you mimosas and other refreshments for free... It's literally like the movies. Plus, there dresses are completely stunning and fabulous with the most.popular designers around... Mori Lee, Eddy K, etc. etc. And to top it all off. They have dresses in ALL sorts of price ranges! It's worth a drive for sure. Here's a few pics of me in my dress I bought, standing in their salon.
