Wedding Dress

Anyone have luck with finding an affordable wedding dress? I'm thinking of getting alterations by a local designer so I don't want to spend too much..

Have you looked into BHLDN or maybe a dress maker on ETSY?

A lot of this depends on what your definition of “affordable” is. For some people that could be $200, for some people it could be $20,000.

Sorry, accidentally posted before I was finished. I was going to say, do you have a specific budget in mind? If so, it may help us to make suggestions.

Check out Austin Avery, Azazie, Heboes, Amazon or SHEIN.

    Hope this helps!

I bought the 1st one from a seller called "Amber Bridal" off Etsy. The dress was my dream & I gave the seller my measurements taken by my seamstress. The dress arrived & was terrible. It didn't look the same & the fit was so bad the seamstress couldn't alter it enough to fit properly. I ordered another from Amazon & just used their size chart. That dress came & fit like a glove right out of the box. The 1st dress cost nearly $2000. The one from Amazon was $75. Amazon has really good quality. The quality from the Etsy seller was really good as well but a note from my seamstress to all brides is do not get anything in a custom size. She says that's an industry rip off & most things "customized" never fit & end up getting altered anyway. I bought my Maid of Honor dress from Azazie using the seamstress measurements, & her dress (size 22) was nearly spot on right out of the box as well. My seamstress says they're a very reputable site but if ordering during the height of wedding season, expect slow shipping. I'm getting married in April & we ordered her dress in Dec. It arrived in 2 weeks. The quality was very good there as well.
