Hi, do you think it’s ok to wear a long sleeved turtleneck wedding dress during summer time ? Would you choose this dress?Wedding dress 1

With how sheer the top is you might be okay, but I think it depends on where your summer wedding will be. I attended a June wedding in Oklahoma and it was 93 degrees at the 6:30 ceremony and I sweat through my spaghetti strap dress. It could work, but it's a brave choice 😅

It’s a beautiful dress, but there is no way I would wear that in the summertime. I would be a sweaty mess (and ruining my make up)!

If your wedding is all indoors in air conditioning, I think it could totally be worn in summer! If it were outside, I probably wouldn't do a dress with sleeves. Beautiful dress though!

It is a very pretty dress, and you can wear whatever you want. Personally, I would never wear long sleeves or a turtleneck in the summer. Your wedding day is long and you want to be comfortable and not sweating the entire day.

Wear what YOU want to wear, regardless of the season. There's ways to work around temperature changes for you to feel like a bride a rock whatever you want to wear.

I would not because I sweat in sleeveless tops even in autumn, and people say wedding dresses are super hot because special occasion fabrics have no airflow. The only way I could see that being feasible is if you are indoors with the air conditioning on full blast ice cold.

Gorgeous dress! Depends on where you’re wedding/reception will be. I wouldn’t as I would be a sweaty mess !

If that's the dress you want and like the best, go for it! Don't concern yourself with what's "in season". I'm getting married next weekend, the second to last weekend of October, in Chicago, where the weather will be a complete grab bag. My dress has spaghetti straps.

It’s pretty sheer, so you might be fine. But for an outdoor reception in the West (CA, AZ, NV) in July or August? Nope. 🥵

It’s beautiful but I think it looks like a winter dress personally.

And all I know is I sweat my ass off in the bridal shop trying dresses on and getting my fittings…
