Wedding dress

Ashley, on February 12, 2020 at 8:56 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
I am plus size looking for a wedding dress. Our venue is costing more than expected so I need to find something on a tight budget. I see a lot of soon to be brides buying online. Does anyone have any suggestions or reliable sites? I am very sketpical of the idea of buying online but I'm trying to come around to it.

Azazie is a great website! So many brides have gotten bridesmaid dresses from there with nothing but positive things to say. I got my wedding dress from them and I couldn't be happier! They are 100% a reputable company and their customer service has been great. They have free custom sizing if you provide your measurements and my dress fits perfectly. Only $350 + $125 in alterations (straps tightened and added a bustle) - $75 alterations reimbursement after sending Azazie my receipt from my seamstress so only $400 for a custom fit dress with a bustle added!

I never considered buying a dress online until I heard about Azazie. I ordered three sample dresses from them to try at home for $15 each which includes shipping both ways. I ended up choosing the first one I tried on and it only took a month to come in Smiley smile

Edit: Here are pictures of the dress I got Smiley smile

Sample dress (no bra in this one, hadn't ordered my undergarments yet)

A lot of brides have good things to say about Azazie and Cocomelody! David's Bridal may also be a good idea just so you can get an idea of what style looks best on you. There also plenty of resell sites like stillwhite.com and preownedweddingdress.

I’ve heard only great things about azazie too! And I think you can even try the dress for $15 before you commit to buying it.

I found this on Facebook market place. NEVER worn. Still had tags. $500 dress I paid $60 for it. My alterations will cost $0.

Is go with azazie over Cocomelody. David’s is an option but can get expensive.

You can try stillwhite.com. My dress is listed there for less than half of what I paid. Lots of good deals to be had there.

I bought my dress from Torrid. They have a line of wedding dresses, but they are online only. I actually ordered mine in the store (the staff helped me with my sizing questions and placed the order), and I had it delivered to the store. Once it came in, I brought my FMIL, FSIL and FSD with me, and I tried it on in store. The staff in store was super helpful and even went out of their way to make the experience special.
