Hi. So I've been married for 11 months and I don't know what to do with my wedding dress. On our 5 year anniversary we were thinking of redoing our wedding photos since it was pouring out and couldn't do outside photos. But right now it's just chilling in the garment bag. It is still super clean. So what happens if I don't perserve my wedding gown? I don't really want to spend the money in preserving. It's really expensive. Here's my wedding dress 😍

    Wow! You look stunning! Do you know anyone getting married that might want it? You could also take it to a consignment shop. If you want to keep the dress, I think you should look into having it preserved. I’m sorry it rained on your wedding day but I hear it’s a sign of good luck. I wish you all the best!

    There are a few google methods of preserving your dress without the expense. Have you tried the net?

    I like your idea of retaking your wedding photos for your anniversary! If you don't want to continue to store it after, you could either donate it or try to sell it. Otherwise, I would suggest preserving it or storing it in its bag in a dark closet.

    My preservation kit only cost $100. That includes the shipping it to them, cleaning the dress, them doing whatever magical preservation things they do, and shipping back to me.
