Wedding dresses

I live in sundresses year-round, so when I saw this on line, I KNEW it was "the one". Just enough sparkle to say "wedding" without going over the top, since this is my third time around.

Last night I went out on a limb and ordered a reception dress on Lulu's. It's similar to the dress that I thought I wanted but didn't get a chance to try on, while also having the diamond pattern and sequins that are in the ballgown I chose. It was only $91 after discount and tax, and I c

an return it if it's not what I thought I wanted.

The skirt is detachable and the bottom of the fitted gown has a slight swish (trumpet?) No veil but a crown may be involved.

View Quoted Comment Yes, I did sit down and it was fine. They’re not like the old wooden hoop skirts, they’re quite thin wire kind of sewn into the petticoat, so they do bend, and with a longer skirt you’re much less likely to sit on the edge of it and flip up anyway (which happened to my mum in the 50s shortly after they came in as a fashion statement!)
They tend not to put them were your bottom is too, so it’s even less likely!
Maybe go try one on and see if you like it!
