Wedding Drinking...how much is too much?

So my bar will be open because we will have a very dull party without it because all our friends and family love themselves some cocktails. As the bride and groom there is some debate on how much "we" should be drinking that night lol...I am paying for it so i feel like i should be able to drink...

What about yourself...to drink or not to drink...that is the question!

I am drinking - maybe even having a cocktail before I walk down the aisle! And I will drink at the reception - moderately - I am a far better dancer with a couple of cocktails in me!

I'm definitely drinking. At least 3 drinks.

I am definately drinking, but I also know how much I can handle. I have a high tolerance level and even when I do get 'drunk' I am just even happier and bubbly. I will not drink to the point I am going to pass out, however it is my party and I am going to enjoy myself!

I'll be having champagne at the toast, and that's it. As others have said, I want to remember my wedding night! But, I'm a lightweight so my one drink is probably equivalent to 3-4 for others

We will be drinking. I already discussed this with my fiance. I don't want him to get stupid-drunk and embarrass us. I think we settled on 2 drinks cuz he can't hold his liquor.

I'm a lightweight. I know that two drinks in a row will give me a nice little buzz, but three will make me drunk. I'm going to do the toast and a glass of wine with dinner. I might have a mimosa in the morning or mixed drink later on if I feel like I can do it without being drunk, but nothing's worse IMO than a sloppy drunk bride.

Ummm....apparently I'm a lush! I didn't even CONSIDER not drinking! I gave FS and I a max of 3 BEFORE the ceremony!! Quite frankly, it's my wedding, and I'm gonna have a damn good time! I won't get sloppy, but I'll drink as much as I want to.

I'm planning on drinking in the limo with the bridal party but once we get to the reception I know I will be to busy to actually enjoy our open bar. Between dancing and talking to guests I'll be suprised if I actually eat at the reception. When I'm dancing I much prefer water than alcohol just to stay hydrated. It's not so much about drinking or not drinking for me as it is about not wanting to have to waiting in line at the bar and miss out on something else that's going on.

Well I quit wine, sugar & carbs to slim down for the wedding, so my tolerance is very low! 1 glass and I'm tipsy. I'm used to drinking lots of water now so that's probably what I'll have in my glass on 9/4!
