Wedding etiquette (decor)

So my wedding colors are blush pink and gold. I am going to have round tables at the reception. Do the tablecloths need to be white, pink, or gold? How about the chairs? Ahhh!

I am HORRIBLE at this. Smiley sad

Doesn't matter! It's all up to you. However most linen companies do white table cloths with colored napkins. I'd do white table cloths, blush napkins, if you do seat covers have a blush tie around back and gold accents for your centerpieces. It'll be bright, airy, and romantic.

There’s no etiquette dictating what color your linens need to be. We’re going with white simply because it’s the least expensive option and the color of the tablecloth really isn’t going to impact our guest’s experience. I also like the clean, elegant look of white linens. If they’re the same price, pink linens could also look nice. Gold would be a little much for my taste, but if you like it, go for it!

Our colors are red ivory and gold, and we are doing red tablecloths and napkins with a natural wood chair to bring out the gold. The red is more expensive, but I decided it was worth it and my fiancé and moh agreed as well. The ivory with red accents just didn’t do it for me.

My colors are the same. Smiley smile We're doing white tablecloths, blush linen napkins, and the gold accents will be in our centerpieces. I'm also contemplating gold chargers.

Thank you ladies for the feedback!

    All were very helpful.

It eases my mind that there is no certain way to have the tables and chairs.

    Basically this.

We went with white linens for the guest tables and crimson napkins, the sweetheart and special tables (guestbook, cake etc) had plum tablecloths. We felt the white helped lighten up the room and helped the centerpieces pop a little more.

Unless you can guarantee the linens match your colors (not bright pink and glitzy gold) white is a safe bet. Are you buying the linens or renting? Can you see the colors before you choose? Most chairs come in white so make that easy on yourself too. You can add the colors with your centerpieces and added touches.
