i got married before all my friends so now that a bunch of them are slowly getting engaged and whatever else, they turn to me for advice. like they literally even asked me for the financials of my wedding like how much was everything, etc and i told them. because i'd rather help them than to shy away and have them look for answers elsewhere when i could be a reservoir of help and knowledge

Unless they asked in a tone that suggested something rude or malicious, I would be flattered to be asked such a thing - they must have thought it was creative or lovely.
