Wedding Exit - Confetti Issues

We had to clean up whatever we threw. So instead of confetti, which would have been a PITA at our outdoor wedding, we bought streamers instead. The ones that come in a roll, and you toss and they unravel. You can find them SUPER cheap if you just google it. We got 300 streamers (rolls of 20) for less than $10. And since they are long strips of paper, they are much easier to grab and clean up than little pieces of confetti or petals. Colorful sprinkles?

Have you considered bubbles, rice or sparklers?

I've heard about glitter being used, I'm just not a fan of getting glitter all over me lol

If it's a night time wedding, I've also seen pictures of glow sticks being used!

I just recently went to a co-worker's wedding and they had individual bubble tubes they handed out to everyone as they were lining up for the bride & groom exit. It was super cute and there was no clean up! Plus she just got hers in bulk from Walmart and I don't think it was too expensive.

Streamers are an awesome idea!! i'm having an outdoor wedding too... i was thinking about bubbles.

my MOH gave me an idea to make sticks with little bells on them to shake 'cause we can't through anything either... i'm going to use them as favors; wrap the sticks with ribbon matching my colors and then attach the bells to the top. i havent started them yet, but it sounds cute!! and its better than having to pick up after the ceremony.

My vote would be bubbles. Plus if you have kids at the wedding, it'll keep them busy instead of running round.

At the venue i'm at the recommend sparklers when it night time and they look amazing

If it's night time then go for sparklers.

Petals might be nice, they should be easy to sweep up.

I once saw a cute idea where there were paper aeroplanes with the couples initials on the "wings".

I just read more ideas:

little bells (the guests can ring them as you walk past)

lavender seeds (you can just sweep them into the gardens)

wild bird seeds (again, just sweep them into the garden)

popcorn (dyed with food colouring to match your wedding colours) - I'm sure the birds will love those!

balloons...

I personally am going for dried leaves if I can... we are very eco friendly and the theme is rustic so I'm sure it will fit...
