Wedding Expos! Tips?

This might sound like a silly question, but what exactly is a wedding expo?

I suggest not signing up for things or entering raffles. It might seem like a good idea at the time, but you get a lot of spam. Have fun!

I know you said you already did labels, but you're going to want a separate e-mail address for wedding stuff. Otherwise, your main e-mails going to be spammed like there's no tomorrow.

I second creating a separate email for wedding stuff. Also I suggest going in there with a goal on what info for which type of vendor you’re trying to get. Also if you like to stop & look at things & talk then I highly suggest going early so you have enough time to go all around. Have fun at the expo! I went to like 3 of them lol after already having most of my vendors but I went for the experience 😊

All types of wedding vendors gather there with a table showing their work & the goal is for them to get some business from some of the engaged couples attending. For the engaged couples it’s nice if you’re still looking for vendors to get idea of costs in your area & sometimes not always you might get a good deal from booking one of those vendors from the expo.

I went to a small scale wedding expo. Most of the vendors there were high high high priced. I ended up going with completely different vendors that were recommendations from friends and family and they ended up being a fraction of the price.


I would still recommend the experience because you can get an idea of the prices of things. If your fiancé thinks wedding planning should be easy and not a lot of work then attending the expo will be a wake up call for them hahah

Definitely wear comfortable shoes, and make sure your cell phone is fully charged. I also made labels, but many vendors had QR codes to ask for my information (and vice versa). I went to several bridal expos/weddings shows - one with my mom and the others with one or two friends - and loved the experience.

Have a separate email account specifically for the wedding. Wear comfortable shoes. Be prepared for lots of food/cake samples. Be very wary of giveaway drawings because they are often scams. Get ideas from the vendors but unless you have a ton of money to burn, they are often more expensive. Though some do offer special deals.

I went to two wedding expo.. I agree with creating a wedding website,also wear some comfortable shoes and clothes there's a lot of walking.
