Wedding favor don’ts

Favors aren’t a necessity at all so I don’t think there any such thing as “too cheap.” Even if so, I think donuts are a great favor.

I’d rather have a donut than a random little item with your wedding date on it I’ll never use. I say go for it.

It’s a cute idea. My SiL had cider donuts and apple cider at her wedding but they weren’t her favors, her favors were keys that no one wanted because they’d rather eat a favor.

A treat is a great favor. And favors aren't neccessary... so anything edible is a a serious bonus! And more likely to be eaten rather than tossed like some candies.

An edible favor is always great and I love your idea of donuts. I would say that favors are not expected.

I love donuts. Anyone who says they’re a cheap or otherwise not good favor is insane. No one wants the trinkets usually given as favors, and they will just get thrown out anyway. Just go with the donuts!

I think that’s a great idea! So many couples decide against wedding favors now, I’d be more than ecstatic to be leaving with an apple cider donut, they’re delicious! I’d also much rather a donut than a little trinket that will be of no use.

I would rather an edible favor than another cozie or bottle opener! I love donuts! Wouldn't think it’s cheap and goes perfectly with October, plus the donut walls are a big thing right now! Go for it! I would love it! And I’m old school, I do think you should have favors at a wedding!! Been to a wedding where they didn’t have any, and it did taint my opinion about the overall feel. People spend a lot of money to go to a wedding, and I understand it’s expensive to have one, but favors are tradition IMO and a little thank you and acknowledgement for coming is well received!

Apple cider donuts are amazing i would be fine if i got that as a wedding favor there so yummy. Maybe you can do little bottle of cider with them with your names and wedding date on it ? Maybe that will make it not seem so cheap as you had said someone thought that..but i love edible favors they can take them home for late night snack or eat them whenever ...
