Hey ladies... I wanted to get practical wedding favors, and my fiancee and I are both into camping and the odd beer with are adventures. We are having a summer wedding and discussed having personalized beer koozies as our party favors... I am afraid this may be a bit tacky... but on the other hand...

Hey ladies... I wanted to get practical wedding favors, and my fiancee and I are both into camping and the odd beer with are adventures. We are having a summer wedding and discussed having personalized beer koozies as our party favors... I am afraid this may be a bit tacky... but on the other hand our wedding is in a church, and the reception is and a fairly ritzy convention center. so its a toss up if this will be practically and casual, or tacky and redneck.... thoughts????

Lol my original thought was tacky.... but my friend was the one who reccomended it, and the more I thought about it, the more practical, and useful I thought it was haha but I wanted a second opinion!

I love the idea - we are having a destination wedding and are doing koozies. They are really cheap too, so you can do additional favors as well Smiley smile

But not the first ones in the picture. Beer and bows just don't go well to me and they are just too girly.

My sister had koozies as favors at her wedding... and she's the furthest thing from a redneck... and her wedding was BEAUTIFUL and the koozies definitely didn't take away from that.... Smiley smile and people can actually use those!!

One of my friends had koozies as her favors. They had a "classy" reception. They weren't out of place at all and I still use mine to this day. I say go for it! That's a favor I would actually use!

If you're going to ask for advice on here you may want to give us ALL of the details before asking our opinions. That way you don't have to explain things in the comments. Just a thought.

How about something that even non beer drinkers would like? There are so many options out there. Maybe beer Koozies would be ok to give to guests at a beach party. Not a reception. Best of luck to you !

It seems like this is something you really want to do. So do it. But as the other ladies suggest, if it is ritzy (for you small town) I still would not do beer koozies. I would try to take it up a notch. But that's just me.
