Who's doing wedding favors? If so, what are they? I'm not sure if I'll do them or not. I hear both sides. Some say "no" because it's a waste of money and you're already giving them a night out lol and others say, absolutely you need them. If I do them, I'd want them to be somewhat practical and...

I'm not sure if I'll do them or not. I hear both sides. Some say "no" because it's a waste of money and you're already giving them a night out lol and others say, absolutely you need them.

If I do them, I'd want them to be somewhat practical and budget friendly. I can't fathom the thought of spending even $100 on something people are going to throw away.

Also, if I were to do them, I was thinking it could be a part of their place setting when they find their table.

Thoughts?

We did personalized seed packets (wild flowers and blue spruce trees, half and half). I got tiny pots from a craft store and spray painted them to match our color. Guests loved them. They were all gone quickly.

We aren't having them...I didn't feel it was worth the time n money for what 'some' guests might appreciate.

If they are in the budget, and you want to do something, do something edible. Otherwise I do think they are a waste of money.

After much debate we decided to give favors. Our choice is playing cards customized with our names and dates.

We're doing marble coasters with each person's name brush lettered on, and it will be part of their place setting.

I mean... We have other things they can take if u consider ice cream truck snacks and photo strips party favors. But their coasters are the official favors!

I love seeing what others choose as their favor when I go to weddings or parties, so I'm hoping our guests like the ones we chose!

Just ordered them today! Bags of flavored popcorn. Carmel apple, pumpkin, cheesecake, root beer float are the flavored we choose. Not a bar, but individually sealed bags.

I'm waiting until RSVPs come in to decide. Everyone says to give an edible favor but I'll be honest, it's disappointing to get candy or cookies as a favor. Might as well have not given out favors! If we do decide to give out favors, it'll be alcoholic.

I would keep photobooth photos from weddings. Something consumable like chocolate would also be good because they do not contribute to mindless clutter.

We're doing personalized goblets, I had purchased them on clearance for my business for like $5/dozen and never did anything with them. So my sister is going to help me vinyl them, they'll end up being about $1 a piece.
