Wedding Favors

We’re skipping favors because in our experience as guests, even the edible favors are left behind and that is money that could be put toward food/bar/dj that guests remember or photos/video.


If we were going to do favors and didn’t care about leftovers, we would either have chocolate truffles or put together a recipe book of family/friend favorites.

As a guest, I always grab a favor whether it's edible or not. I personally love keepsakes because I'm sentimental lol.

We're most likely doing drink koozies and frosted cups. We know our guests and about half will use a koozie, and the rest will use the cups. We're also planning on having doggie bags with dog treats in them for our guests with pets!

My grandma makes cream cheese mints for family gatherings. My venue would allow this one nonlicensed outside food if it was in bags as favors. So before the wedding, her and I are going to be making enough for the guests. My theme is Disney so we're mixing red and white mint dough and mix them to make Alice in Wonderland roses.

We are doing bags of bbq rub because we're serving BBQ, it's a summer wedding, we have a smoker and smoke meat at home, it just seemed personal. We had the bags custom made on Etsy and made the rub ourselves (although buying a bulk 5 lb bag would have been wayyyy easier). I love them!! And if people don't take them we'll gladly take them back!

We did chocolate covered toffee & travel sized hand sanitizers. The candy we bought from a local candy shop & the sanitizers from Bath & Bodywork (on clearance). Candy was a hit- our guests raved on it! There was nothing left behind!

We did mini Pretzels!

We're having a popcorn bar at the end of the night that we also kind of consider "favors" since everyone can grab a bag on their way home.
