Wedding favors

My wedding will be outside at a rose garden in August (one of my states hottest months). I found two favors I want to get, both are through Amazon. Hand fans and champagne bottle bubbles.Wedding favors 1

    Those are super cute! 👏
I hate to be a Negative Nancy but can you reconsider either 1) outdoor wedding or 2) a summer date? Being too hot or cold is miserable for guests. You may have a high decline rate, guests fainting/getting sick, or leaving early. I can’t take heat and would probably decline. 😔

I think the fans are a good idea. I went to a wedding last August where the wedding program was printed on the fans.

Both of these would be practical favors! You could have the fans available at the ceremony, and then the champagne bottles at the reception?

The date we chose is actually the weekend my out of state family comes to visit every year. When they come to visit we always do an outing, we've gone to zoos, a small amusement park and other outdoor activities. I've talked to them about it.

Definitely! You could also give them out before the ceremony with the fans and have people blow bubbles as your ceremony exit. My sister did that for her wedding, and it turned out well!

Also, Pirate & 60s Bride brings up a good point about the heat. If you're planning on an outdoor wedding in summer, you could provide containers of ice water and/or lemonade and/or iced tea for people to drink to cool down.

The outdoor rose garden we selected has electricity and we have several turbo fans. We will also be having it a bit early in the day.

We will have several turbo fans with us, the rose garden has electricity. Also the ceremony will be fairly early in the day before it gets too hot.

I even found a picture of it! It was attached to a popsicle stick.

But you would obviously not be able to use the same kind of fans that you found on Amazon.

These are great ideas! We had an outdoor summer wedding, and the our guests loved the fans we had available for the ceremony!

The fans and bubbles are cute but they aren’t favors. I agree with previous posters that not everyone will be able to tolerate the heat. Is there any shade you can use? Make sure you have plenty of water at ceremony time, no alcohol.

The garden has a gazebo. The guest list is pretty small.
