Wedding favors

My vote is not to do it. No one notices or cares about wedding favors. We just gave cookies (do something consumable if you decide to do one!) and had a ton left behind.

Favors are something that can absolutely be skipped. No one would notice if they weren't there, and many people leave them behind even if you do have them. Save your money and skip the favors.

It’s definitely not mandatory anymore. Like the comments say, people usually leave them behind. If you want to however, maybe do something that you wouldn’t mind having leftovers. For my wedding , we’re doing coffee beans as we are coffee lovers so to be honest if people leave them, that’s more coffee beans for us to keep lol. But definitely not mandatory. I went to 3 weddings last year & no one did favors.

We had a photo booth, so the favors were magnetic strips that people could put their photo(s) in. We gave the extras to the booth attendant with instructions to just hand them out to those who asked for more. We had nothing left over or left behind.

We didn’t do it our wedding, however we did a have a lot of small children present so we had a piñata so that I guess was mostly kids party favors.
