Wedding favors

We were going to do hot chocolate, but then my FH had the amazing idea of doing my dads famous bbq sauce. We live in a small town and he owned a restaurant about 10 years ago. We still get people asking us for sauce and I know our guests are going to be so excited to bring some home!

Save your money love. In all honesty, no one really keeps them and at the end of it, its money being thrown away or forgotten on the tables. Save yourself the possible disappointment of seeing them forgotten and a hit to your budget. Also, think of the time and headache you save, NOT worrying about if they're getting put together properly or if they're getting to the venue like their supposed to and put on whatever table they're supposed to go on. Believe me, you have enough to think about and you don't need this. My wedding was amazing and not one guest asked me or brought up wedding favors. They were too busy having a great time.

I am doing personalized wine. I will be filling the bottles myself and i purchased my lables off etsy.

We are doing Succulents

We are getting married at a greenhouse so we are making personified wildflower seed packets. I make homemade soap as a hobby so I’m putting individual soap bars and seed packets together!

We’re adding these Mickey key/bottle openers to the escort cards, but that’s the only favor we’re doing.

Our last name will be Jones, so we’re ordering Jones sodas for everyone with our engagement pictures on them!

We are doing airplane bottle openers which will double as seat assignments too

My best friend and I are making herb-infused olive oils and different infused sugars (mint, lemon, vanilla). Found great bottles and jars at Dollar Tree.

We are doing customized sunglasses and guitar picks

We're trying to decide if we want favors or not. My future last name is Spychala and in high school people mispronounced it all the time and just called him Spatula. So we were thinking about maybe doing mini spatulas for our favors.

I did plantable favors from Etsy (vendor: SeedWeddingFavors). For 120 favors, came to only $94 and were personalized w/our names + wedding date! My (now) husband and I loved the idea of something small/lightweight (80 of our 100 guests flew in for our wedding) that is also environmentally friendly. I would still go this route if I had to do it again, everyone loved it and when the flowers bloomed, they'll have a sweet reminder of the memories from our wedding.

We did not do wedding favors. PEOPLE ALWAYS FORGET THEM and it is a waste of money. My husband and I have been to about 10 wedding together in the last 5 years together. We saw how many people didn’t remember or take their wedding favors home and how much time and money people put into them. We cut that cost out of our own wedding. Everyone said our wedding was the best they ever went to so yeah :-). Who remember wedding favors if they are having a good time!! ❤️😊
