Wedding food?

Hcook, on August 4, 2020 at 9:34 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 13

What is everyone doing for their wedding day food? Rehearsal food? We wanted to do BBQ for the wedding day, but we changed that up and now doing it for rehearsal dinner and a Taco Bar for the wedding dinner.

We are doing BBQ for our rehearsal dinner, and we have a plated meal being served through our venue for our wedding day dinner. A taco bar sounds so fun!!

We did a traditional plated meal for our wedding food (chicken, salmon, or vegetarian ravioli). For rehearsal dinner food (we actually called it a 'welcome dinner' since we invited all out of town guests) we had heavy appetizer stations with different local foods specific to our city. A taco bar for your wedding sounds really neat and fun if you're going for a more casual vibe! And BBQ is an excellent choice for rehearsal dinner food as well Smiley smile

We are doing BBQ for the bridal/wedding shower, going to have the rehearsal dinner at a local Mexican restaurant, and are thinking about maybe brick oven pizza and wings for the wedding. Not 100% sold on the wedding meal yet still deciding that one.

My sister did a taco bar and it was great! We are doing an I Do BBQ for our rehearsal dinner so naturally we'll be having BBQ. For the wedding we are doing mini calzones with garlic knots and caesar salad

Sounds yummy! We had a nacho bar for our late night snack and it was delicious. My brother-in-law had a taco bar for his rehearsal dinner and it was very good. The only drawback is that not everyone likes Mexican food. My brother-in-law's wife had to deal with her grandparents complaining about her food choice for the rehearsal because either of them like Mexican food. Personally, I love Mexican food.

We will be hosting our rehearsal dinner at a restaurant. Our reception will be a plated meal prepared by a Cajun chef. We are having a destination wedding in New Orleans, and wanted to make sure all our guests got to experience real NOLA cuisine.

Rehearsal dinner is going to be at an Italian restaurant relatively close to the venue.

I know we’re having some different apps during cocktail hour (veggie tray, fruit tray, chicken kabobs, and mini ham biscuits). If I can remember correctly from when FH and I looked at our options, we’re having Caesar salad, chicken Florentine, brisket, butter whipped potatoes and mixed veggies on our buffet.

For our wedding we’ll be serving a traditional (buffet) with a chicken entree, prime rib, potatoes, veggies & salad. Our rehearsal dinner will likely be at an Italian restaurant on the Las Vegas strip.

We're doing a taco bar for the rehearsal, and BBQ for the wedding because my fiancé owns a BBQ restaurant.

Our rehearsal dinner will be at a local steakhouse. We will be doing a burger bar for our reception which will include a chicken option.
