My wedding is coming up in about 3 weeks and I want a good waterproof transfer proof foundation! I have VERY oily skin and large pores. Please give me your favorite foundations along with primers thank you!

I don't have a good recommendation for oily skin, but I would recommend going into ulta and having someone there help you. You'll want a matte foundation to balance the oil. Also, you'll really want a good pore filling primer. Benefit cosmetics has a good one. I really like the smashbox photo finish primer. Make sure you get a good setting powder and setting spray as well. Urban decay is great for that.

Thank you! Im super big Into makeup and I normally love the Estée Lauder double wear but since it is so matte it just sinks in my pores and that’s not a look I want for my big day. I use the urban decay settling spray.

I have heard great things about the Pur love your selfie foundation, but haven't tried it personally. The Tatcha silk canvas is supposed to be an amazing primer and I have read that the ELF poreless putty primer is a dupe for it. I have used the ELF poreless putty primer and I really like it. I have large pores on my nose and it really smooths it out.

That's the one I was just about to suggest lol I have oily skin, too and the double wear one works for me! I use the Smashbox primer for oily skin, with the Urban Decay setting spray.

Like a pp said, I would go to Ulta and ask for suggestions. I wish I had another suggestion... Good luck!

This is my absolute favorite foundation, but the flashback is horrible 😭 I have the same skin type, but unfortunately my wedding is this weekend and still have not found a foundation I like yet.

Rarely wear makeup but when I do I use the liquid bareMinerals foundation and Urban Decay setting spray, along with blotting tissues of course.

I would suggest visiting a store like Ulta or Sephora for help with the foundation. The employees will help you find something that is long-wearing and matches your skin color.

I would highly suggest buying a setting spray as well.

You'll want to start with a good primer. If you have large pores, you'll want to find a primer that smoothes those out. I highly recommend the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I thought it was all over-priced hype... and then I tried it and absolutely love it. It's oil-free and has this airy texture that glides over your skin, filling in your pores and lines -- amazing. I've heard NYX's Angel Veil Primer is a good dupe, but if you can splurge on this primer, I recommend it (or at least get a sample).

I also recommend a second primer: Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer. This should actually be applied first, and is not an all-over primer. I only use this is my super oily "problem areas," which are around my nose, center of my chin and between my eyebrows. The reason I say it's not an all-over primer is because it almost grips too well so I have a hard time getting everything to blend.

You'll want to look for an oil-free / water-based foundation. This means water is the main binding ingredient, versus oil, cream, gel, etc. You'll see water in the ingredients list towards the top. I like MAC's Studio Fix Fluid. It keeps my skin matte without clogging my pores and has so many color options to find your perfect match. My mom uses Estee Lauder Double Wear, which also has a huge color selection.

Find a good setting powder, and use a powder puff to press the powder into your oiliest areas once you apply foundation and concealer. Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Setting Powder is good for those days you might need a little more help to control oil. For everyday, I use Maybelline's Fit Me Loose Powder.

Finally, top everything off with a setting spray! I like Urban Decay's All-Nighter Setting Spray and MAC's Fix+.

If you need ideas about what would work best for you, it sounds silly but YouTube is great for the beauty guru's and they know their stuff. I highly recommend Nikkia Joy. She has super oily skin and she always does great foundation wear tests. It might give you a better idea. All you-tuber's know exactly what causes flashback and what doesn't. She also made a setting powder that would blur everything you don't want to show and make your foundation have a better longevity.

I have combination skin and used Tatcha primer and makeup forever stick foundation. They were and are my absolute luxury favorites!

That said, just because they worked wonderfully for me does not mean they will for you. Try going into Sephora and Ulta. get color matched and recommendations. try samples. pay for trials with them. etc.

Also as far as long wear and non transferable, your setting powder (bake the heck outta your face) and setting spray (morphe truly is amazing!) are going to make all the difference.
