Wedding guest attire - help me choose

I’m not quite sure what to wear tonight. I’m attending a wedding reception at a community house - the couple was already married over the summer. It’s at 6pm and they are having some people from their theater group perform. The floral dress would be paired with sheer tights and a dressy boot. I love the strapless dress, but it could easily be for black tie. I don’t want to underdress, but don’t want to overdress, either.

For a reception you can wear anything. The floral dress is perfect for semi formal which is the default unspoken dress code unless the venue requires black tie or similar to be worn before you can walk in the door

Ohhh! I really like both to be honest! For some reason I really am gearing towards the floral one.
