I wouldn't say it's required, but definitely recommended! Having a trial ensures everything will go smoothly the day of your wedding with hair and makeup!

I'm 69 days away and still have to book a HMUA. I definitely have to do a trial

I didn’t do a trial and it was fine. But I also wasn’t super picky about the look I wanted.

I’m also getting married in 69 days. On 9/28. I just did my trial and I don’t like it at all. So now what?

I think it'd be nice to so you can see what you like on yourself

I would definitely recommend doing a trial. I had my trials 2 weeks ago and was not impressed with either place. Had a repeat done somewhere else on Friday and loved it!

As said above, you don’t have to do a trial , but I would definitely recommend it. That way you’re not trying to figure out what you do and don’t like the day of your wedding.

If you have something specific in mind I would def do a trial run. If you’re easy going you might be ok without it. Go to your usual person if possible or someone whose style you like. Act soon though most stylists book out quickly for weddings, especially in spring and fall.
