Wanted something on the rock-a-billy side. Honestly, she made the roll too big but I really did love it! DH was also supposed to have rock-a-billy hair but said he was so nervous he couldn't get it right the day of.

Your hair is gorgeous! I love the half up look. the twists in the back add some nice dimension. What season was your wedding and hot hot was it? Did you have any issues with it throughout the day?

View Quoted Comment We got married in early June, so like late spring/early summer. It was low 70s that day. I didn’t have any issues with it, I felt pretty comfortable!

That is wonderful! It will probably be in the high 70's or even 80's for my wedding. So i am trying to figure out the sweat and humidity factor haha

Yeah, it is in a courtyard for both the ceremony and reception. wedding starts after the heat of the day at 4:30.

Mine was actually indoors despite what those pictures make it look like lol (we did photos outside but ceremony and reception was inside) so I was less concerned about being hot since I knew most of the day I’d be in air conditioning, AND also I always run cold anyway.


I wouldn’t plan your hair style around the weather though, like if you want to have it down or half up/half down I wouldn’t decide against it just because it may be hot, since the forecast could always change and it could end up being cooler than you think!

We were debating fully up or not, but she did such a fantastic job with sweeping my hair into luxurious curls! Actually, nearly a week later my hair is still rather curled. Fh and I were shocked that it all staid together. I also bought six different headpieces and ended up wearing the modest little moon and star clips. Felt really bridal though.
