Wedding hashtag - no last name change

Absolutely ! Some people just use their first names combined to do a hashtag

I did not change my last name and we still had a wedding hashtag. Granted, not many people used it, since neither my husband or I have instagram or twitter, but we did have one.

You definitely could! It could include both of your first names, or both of your last names, or a shared interest/sport between you, or something to do with your venue, or your wedding date, etc.

DH and I did a portmanteau of our last names - we smushed them up, to create a hashtag. We loved it so much, I bought him a baseball with that name on it.

We lopped off the end of my last name, and put in the end of his last name instead.

...Now our friends refer to us this way! Highly recommend.

The hashtag is pretty much for guests to tag so all pictures end up in the same place so you can definitely still have one. You can just use first names or a combo of both last names

Absolutely. I believe a hashtag is an easy way for you to gather all the pictures others took. You just look up the hashtag and it's all there. So you can make it with your first names or your date. They're cute

Hi! My FH and I have last names that just don’t work well together lol and I’m hyphenating, so we’re just doing #haveyourselfamarriedlittlechristmas since we’re getting married in December. But it’s a little long, so we’ve decided to take it or leave it lol
